After 6 hours of research and analysis of 20 products, we have determined that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is the best dual-SIM smartphone on the market.
Xiaomi mi note 10
Xiaomi created this model to compete with the best
camera phones while maintaining a limited price. It therefore arises as a very
versatile solution with a more than interesting quality / price ratio.

With its photo module composed of 5 sensors, the Mi Note
10 is able to respond to any situation. It also has a large battery and a
processor agile enough for the vast majority of uses. Of course, it is not the
fastest or the strongest, but it has enough capacity to become our choice in
our article dedicated to photo smartphones .
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro
The Note series is the perfect example that it is
possible to make a balanced and affordable model. Designed for the majority of
users, it combines interesting performance with high overall quality.

Whether you choose the Pro version, the most basic or
the S , which arises as an intermediate, the Note 9 series is a benchmark in
its price range. It stands out thanks to its level of performance which affects
neither its autonomy nor its ergonomics. It is therefore logical that it is
acclaimed by many users. There is still a weakness in photography, which is
quite common at this price.
Samsung galaxy s20
The revival of the high-end Samsung continues to be
present on the podium of premium models thanks to its many strengths that rule
out all competition, regardless of the version chosen.

As on its other versions, the S20 is entitled to a very
good quality 120 Hz AMOLED screen combined with first-rate performance and a
qualitative photo module. However, these assets imply certain sacrifices,
especially in terms of autonomy, which is quite limited in certain
circumstances. The S20 + and S20 Ultra are just as good but a lot bigger.
Doogee S95 Pro
If you are looking for a shockproof solution, then go
for this model. It takes the ascendancy over its direct competitors thanks to
its exemplary resistance without sacrificing general performance.
The S95 Pro, in its 2020 vintage, contains everything
you need to be a must-have smartphone, making it the best shockproof smartphone
on the market. It effectively combines a correct power with a high level
resistance, which allows it to fill the absence of atypical functions that can
be found in some of its competitors. It adds to that a range of interesting
accessories like an extra battery or a more powerful speaker. It is also
possible for you to acquire it in a pack for a minimal additional cost. This is
the ideal solution if you are looking for a Dual SIM smartphone for sometimes
risky professional use.

How did we make our choice?
Nowadays, it is not uncommon to need a second SIM card,
whether for business contacts or with foreign numbers. Fortunately, many
manufacturers have equipped their smartphones with an additional slot to manage
these two chips without the need for a second phone (often at the expense of a
microSD card).
However, given the number of models having this option,
it is necessary to base oneself on certain criteria to determine which ones are
really interesting.
Performance : it is determined by your processor and the
RAM memory associated with it. Together they influence the smoothness of the
phone and its capabilities for heavier tasks like editing photos or playing
games. Today the most powerful model is the Snapdragon 865+ on Android.
The screen : its size affects the size of your device.
It is measured in inches. The higher the value, the more immersive the experience.
Smartphones now use either IPS-LCD technology, which is more affordable, or
OLED, with infinite contrasts. The latter is the benchmark in the field even if
some well calibrated IPS screens can titillate it.
Ergonomics : this element is mainly determined by the
materials used and the weight of the device. For example, a glass back will
look better but slippery where metal will be sturdier but heavier. Plastic, on
the other hand, is the most affordable solution. At the same time, the
placement of various elements such as physical buttons, biometric sensors or
even speakers influence your comfort of use.
Photo quality : to enjoy beautiful shots, it is
important to focus on brightness, contrast and colorimetry as well as the
context in which you use your device. Generally, the brands ensure the
versatility of the module either by multiplying the sensors or by optimizing
the software (“night” mode for example). If this criterion is essential for
you, do not hesitate to consult our comparison of the best smartphones for the
photo .
Autonomy : this is the smartphone's biggest weak point.
When your device reaches 2 to 3 days endurance, you can consider it effective.
Manufacturers partly compensate for this defect by improving the rapid charging
system. On the other hand, do not be fooled by a very high capacity: the
autonomy does not depend on this single value and a large poorly optimized
battery can be less efficient than a low capacity battery with careful
optimization.
After having gone through numerous tests carried out on
the Internet, analyzed the technical sheet of each product, consulted the
opinions of French, English or even Dutch-speaking users while ensuring the
legitimacy of these comments, we were able to determine which are the 4 best.
dual-SIM smartphones of the moment.

With its photo module composed of 5 sensors, the Mi Note
10 is able to respond to any situation. Of course, it is not the fastest or the
strongest, but it has enough capacity to become our choice in our article
dedicated to photo smartphones .
The heart of the device is made up of a Snapdragon 730G
coupled with 6 GB of RAM. This set is a guarantee of flexibility for the
majority of users, in particular thanks to its balanced results. On the other
hand, Power Users will have to go their way and turn to a model equipped with
the Snapdragon 865.
On the display side, you are entitled to a very pleasant
6.5 ”AMOLED panel. A small passage through the parameters is necessary
(temperature on “hot”, profile “by default”) but, once this operation carried
out, you are entitled to a very good colorimetry. As a bonus, its high
brightness and low reflectance make it perfectly suitable for use in bright
environments.
These beautiful assets are nothing compared to the real
strong point of this model: the photo. The observation is simple: it shows as
much ease in the field as some much more expensive solutions. We find here a
module composed of 5 objectives, ideal for a good versatility. Thus, you are
entitled to a main sensor of 108 Mpx, an ultra-wide angle of 20 Mpx, telephoto
lenses x2 (12 Mpx) and x5 (5 Mpx) and a macro of 2 Mpx.
The results are excellent so much day, with a high level
of detail and a natural rendering, as at night, where the final result is
favored by a contained smoothing. Logically, the main objective stands out and
must be favored in complex conditions.
Ergonomics are no exception. Indeed, despite a bulky
size and a high weight (157.8 x 74.2 x 9.67 mm - 206 g), the Mi Note 10 remains
pleasant to use in particular thanks to the good positioning of the physical
elements. Biometrics are entrusted to a fingerprint sensor under the screen and
2D facial recognition, less secure than what we find at Huawei or Apple .
The connection, for its part, is quite simple with a
USB-C port and two Nano-SIM ports. Its storage extends to 128 GB and is
therefore not expandable.
Its endurance, ultimately, offers one of the best
results today with a resistance of 2 to 3 days, depending on your use.

its autonomy nor its ergonomics. It is therefore logical that it is acclaimed
by many users. There is still a weakness in photography, which is quite common
at this price.
The performance is entrusted to a Snapdragon 720G
coupled with 6 GB of RAM and, with the choice, 64 or 128 GB of storage,
expandable via microSD. This set allows it to offer slightly lower performance
than the 730G of the Mi Note 10 which makes it a very good solution at this
price.
On the display side, we are entitled to a 6.67 ”IPS FHD
+ panel. It has an excellent rendering which places it well ahead of the
majority of its competitors. This result is favored by good colorimetry (dE
1.3) and high contrast (1247: 1) for this technology. The brightness levels are
also interesting.
On the other hand, on the photography side, the finding
is much less encouraging. Indeed, the module composed of 4 sensors (main 64
Mpx, ultra wide-angle 8 Mpx, macro of 5 Mpx and a depth sensor) offers barely
correct rendering where a lack of sharpness is very quickly noticed. The secondary
objectives fail to raise the bar. The night rendering does not work miracles
either because of a fairly marked lack of detail.
Fortunately, ergonomics straighten the bar with a
pleasant grip, favored by a good positioning of the buttons and the fingerprint
sensor. A little premium touch is added by the neat finishes and the glass
back. The only downside is related to its size, a little too bulky (165.8 x
76.7 x 8.8 mm - 209 g).
Its endurance, finally, places it in the high average
thanks to its 5020 mAh accumulator which allows it to withstand more than 2
days in normal use.
Samsung galaxy s20
The revival of the high-end Samsung continues to be
present on the podium of premium models thanks to its many strengths that rule
out all competition, regardless of the version chosen.

Just like on its other versions, the S20 is entitled to
a very good quality screen combined with first-rate performance and a
qualitative photo module. However, these assets imply certain sacrifices,
especially in terms of autonomy, which is quite limited in certain
circumstances. The S20 + and S20 Ultra are just as good but a lot bigger.
On the basic model, you are entitled to an Exynos 990
coupled with 8 GB of RAM and a storage of 128 GB. It can be expanded using a
microSD card, to the detriment of the second Nano-SIM port.
These components make it suitable for all your tasks,
whether it is editing or gaming in addition to allowing compatibility with 5G
(for the dedicated version ) and Wi-Fi 6. Certainly, it does not surpass the
Snapdragon 865 but the difference is minimal.
The diagonal of its screen changes very little compared
to the S10 with an AMOLED WQHD + 120 Hz panel of 6.2 ”(against 6.1”). It offers
good results with efficient colorimetry (dE 2.1) and correct temperature
(6760K) in natural mode. Fluidity is of course there thanks to the high refresh
rate.
On the photo side, it has a triple module (12 Mpx
wide-angle, 12 Mpx ultra-wide-angle and 64 Mpx telephoto). He shoots pictures
rich in detail with a good level of contrast and neutral colors favoring a
natural rendering.
The other lenses do almost as well, although in low light
you may notice the presence of electronic noise, causing the level of detail to
drop.
Unlike the Ultra, all this has only a slight impact on
the ergonomics which is one of the most pleasant on the market thanks to an
optimized size and a limited weight (151.7 x 69.1 x 7.9 mm - 163 g). It also
benefits from OneUI optimizations, particularly suited to new screen formats.
The fingerprint sensor, located under the screen, is also well positioned.
Ultimately, his endurance is the part that can be
criticized. Indeed, despite a correct capacity of 4000 mAh, the S20 can only
withstand a day of moderate use with a flanged screen (FHD, 60 Hz). If you use
its full potential, you will probably have to top it up again in the afternoon.
Full charge takes just over an hour.

you need to be a must-have smartphone, making it the best shockproof smartphone
on the market. It effectively combines a correct power with a high level
resistance, which allows it to fill the absence of atypical functions that can
be found in some of its competitors.
The performance aspect is entrusted to a Helio P90
coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. As a result, it will not be as
swift as a general public model and is rather at the level of the Xiaomi Note 9
on this point. However, it remains a good example of day-to-day stability.
On the display side, there is a 6.3 ”IPS FHD panel
coated with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The rendering is pleasant and usable in
all circumstances even if we note a display temperature tending towards blue,
causing an unhealthy image. little too cold.
Ergonomics, on the other hand, are far removed from
standard models. Thus, the S95 Pro is much beefier than the other models in
this article (167 x 77 x 16mm - 284 g) but is in the low average of shockproof
smartphones. Fortunately, the position of the keys and the textured back make
its use more pleasant. A programmable multifunction key (3 actions) is also
integrated.
For photography, there is a module composed of 3 sensors
(48 Mpx - 8 Mpx wide-angle - 8 Mpx Macro). The images obtained offer a correct
rendering in favorable conditions which can even be used in low light.
Integrated AI is no stranger to these results, even if it is not as effective
as on the tenors of the genre .
Its autonomy, on the other hand, rivals the Mi Note 10
by offering no less than 3 days of endurance which can extend up to 5 days with
the brand's battery module. Various optimizations that limit the impact of
background applications promote these excellent results.
Finally, the additional functions are fairly standard
with NFC, wireless charging (10 W) and a 3.5 jack. But the real peculiarity of
the D95 Pro comes from its magnetic connection on the back, allowing you to
connect one of the dedicated accessories, namely: an additional battery or a
portable speaker. You can also acquire them in a pack for a minimal additional
cost.
Honorable mentions
OnePlus 8 (€ 599.00 at publication): latest high-end
model of the Chinese brand, it combines excellent autonomy of more than two
days with performance worthy of the best thanks to its Snapdragon 865 coupled
with 8 GB of RAM . On the other hand, in terms of photography, it still lags
behind with a result that is always too smooth day and night.
Apple iPhone 11 (64 GB) (759 € at the time of
publication): with the 11th model of its iPhone, Apple has finally succeeded in
making the quality / price ratio of its smartphone interesting. Thus, the base
model uses an IPS screen coupled with a dual-lens photo module to reduce its
final score. It doesn't sacrifice the excellent A13 Bionic though, and retains
all of the improvements over the XS.
Asus Zenfone 7 (759.99 at publication): Newcomer to the
Asus range, it uses the Snapdragon 865+ to deliver exceptional performance. It
wraps everything in a design inspired by the previous version while maintaining
excellent ergonomics. Its real particularity comes from its folding photo
module, the operation of which is simple: the back module swivels upwards to be
used for selfies. As a result, it offers very good rendering in both situations
while brilliant for its originality.
